Hello, I'm Shay, I've had a perm account since last year, nice to meet other folks with chemically treated hair similar accounts.

Probably many of you know, but there's a huge discussion about LJ becoming more like MySpace and trying to appeal to a 'younger' crowd.

You can read about it, and a petition, two entries down.

Now, this affects perm members because of loss of service, yes, but I'm also wondering- will they allow transfers between LJ and Vox with a transfer token? Hmmm...

Ok, so lots of people don't give their age information. Or they lie about it.
I don't see how that changes things. A random sampling of livejournals still suggests that a large population of the site is still in high school.

It just seems to me that people like to complain and any minor change that happens to the interface and design of the site upsets people way too much. I'm just saying that I have faith in the leadership of this company not to fuck over the userbase. They are always trying to make as many people happy as possible.

I haven't signed it myself, I'm just curious what y'all think.

Have you read the feedback in lj_feedback, news, lj_design...??

For the most part, no. I read news. I've skimmed through lj_design.

Am I way off base? Should I be more pissed off about them ruining my lj experience? Has Brad done me wrong?
